The energy sector is very important in the economic view of nowadays. The demands are great, since the guarantee and security of the national supply to the requisites of environmental nature and to its influence in the competitiveness of the enterprises while factor of production, they impose the clear definition of an energetic politics that tries to reconcile several present interests. In a country, in which the dependence of outside sources of energy is particularly high, this question becomes more important. Only the persistent and lasting pursuit of purposes well defined, in terms of power sources and energetic efficiency, will allow to reduce the structural imbalance that results that Portugal registers the most elevated contents of energy when compared to the remaining European countries.(in Resolution of the Cabinet n.º 63/2003)
The sources of renewable energies were always one of the bets of the Ecofirma - Gestão do Ambiente, Lda. in which expects to contribute more and more for the use of clean energies.
Besides the resource to solar, photovoltaic energy and "airproduced" the Ecofirma´s specialized in projects of licensed mini-hydric utilizations for the generation of electric energy. Ecofirma counts with many projects approved, being responsible for all the phases of the process, such as:

Study of environmental incidences and/or study of environmental impact
Project of execution of a lagoon
Project of conception and construction of staircases of fishes
Sub-projects of several specialties
The experience of the Ecofirma, allows to conduct with efficiency the whole process (slow by nature) of license and to implement measures against the time and investment made by the promoters of the project.
