Cleaning and bacteriological disinfection of structures (water tanks and pipelines) in contact with drinking water.

 

WASHING AND DISINFECTION OF CONDUCTS

PRIOR WASHING 

The conducts will be initially washed with simple water before the disinfection. For such the piece of junk in question will have to be full of water with the proper precautions (speed of filling is advised between 0,05 m/s and 0,1 m/s, defining the necessary devices that guarantee the gone off the air). Following the piece of junk will be passed by a current of water to the speed superior to 1 m/s, during the judged necessary time to drag all the impunities that the conducts contain in its interior, which will be easily detected in the water of exit. To have in special attention zones of unevenness, in order to not leave residues of water of washing inside pieces of junk in the pipes.


This work is of the responsibility of the contractor and it will have to be accompanied by persons in charge of the enterprise that will be going to carry out the disinfection.

FILLING WITH DISINFECTANT MIXTURE 

The application of disinfectant will have to be done during the phase of the filling, after the prior washing. The water to use in this process will have to be a drinkable water. The application of disinfectant can be done through a specific bomb, where its point of injection is put in the pipes or through the inclusion of the disinfectant solution inside the deposits and subsequently its release for the conducts of distribution. The value of the tenor of disinfectant that´s necessary to register in this phase is 100 mg/L of ALBILEX-SUPER-des (50 mg/L of peroxide of hydrogen).

DISINFECTANT TO USE 

The disinfectant to use will be the ALBILEX-SUPER-des composed in 50% by peroxide of hydrogen.

DETECTION AND QUANTIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT 

After the filling of the conducts with the disinfectant solution, is necessary to check through the strips indicators, the concentration of the solution in some points of the pipes. In the end of the time established for the permanence of the solution in the pipes and before same to be freed for the outside, there is done again a checking of the tenor of ALBILEX- SUPER-des. The values of the tenor of disinfectant that is necessary to register in this phase it is 50 mg/L of ALBILEX-SUPER-des (25 mg/L of peroxide of hydrogen).

 

The surfaces disinfected with ALBISHAUSEN products, as above is recommended, can be immediatly put again in service from the moment in which the indicators strips register a minimum value of peroxide of hydrogen.
