ECOFIRMA installed recently a water treatment system by using a proportional of sodium hypochlorite in the village of Pitães das Júnias. This system was designed to supply until 600 inhabitants. The local picked is very remote, without electric supplying. The system was dimensioned to stand up with the lack of brightness in the location, specially in the Winter. The economic analysis concludes that this type of system is very competitive, just because doesn´t need the inspection of CERTIEL and the placing of a regulamentary electric system. Therefore the expensives with the electric company will be considered as savings in this kind of system.
